Mum

My Story

I am going to be swimming 10 kilometres in November to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Mum passed away in August this year. She had been diagnosed with advanced liver and bowel cancer (alongside her Alzheimer's) a few months earlier. Mum used to love her swim on a Tuesday morning, travelling by coach to the pool with her friends. She went most weeks for over 20 years. With this in mind I thought a swimming challenge an appropriate way to raise money in her memory, as I also love to swim. Thank you for any donation, large or small. It is much appreciated.
