My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Giving Page. Our story and reason behind setting up this page is because cancer is something that we know affects most people in some way or another wether you have it or know someone with it, lost someone to it or battling with it. A close family member to us and of course to our little boy, Charlton, got diagnosed with cancer. At just 6 years old our son, Charlton, has proudly been invited to race at Goodwood revival 2024 in his Austin J40. A 1961 peddle car, he will be among 80 competitors all various ages from 5 to around 10! This is every little boys and girls dream🏎️💭and certainly one Charlton has had since he first set his eyes on an Austin J40 and saw all those boys & girls! The reasons for Charlton’s J40 colour scheme is to replicate his grandpa’s car, The Wasp🐝 which is a 1949 formula 3 car which both his grandpa and his dad have raced! This is Charltons second year racing his peddle car, this year he is determined to raise £500 and we though what better way to try and raising money for the charity doing something he loves and continuing the family passion of all things cars🏎️ Our aim is to try and raise money to the charity, so that they can continue research and hopefully extend the treatment they can offer for all stages. The more money we raise and the sooner everyone raises it, the sooner there can be a prevention for it.
