The Watkinson's are running 56 miles this February in Memory of Stuart 'Smiler' Collier - Raising Money To Help Beat Cancer
In memory of
Smiler
Inspired by the fundraing work of Michelle and Stuart Collier, The Watkinson's wanted to do our bit in 2022 by raising some money for a charity that has special meaning to us all. George wanted us to do the 2 mile a day challenge so we are! We will be running 56 miles in February to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Each run, Ed and Gill with both be doing the full 56 miles each and when possible will be joined by at least one of our boys; Harry, George or Louis. Between the boys they will be aiming to also do 56 miles in total. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. All of us can support the research that will beat it. Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
