My nan and grandad
My Story
My nan was given days to live and this charity made sure my nan was cared for and comfortable and made us as a family feel we had them to hand at all times.a nurse was with us all the way.sadly nan passed 5 days after being told,and has left a hugh hole in our lives.. My grandad was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and was sent to London hospital to receive care from them,they were amazing and went above and beyond,sadly grandad also lost his life..we as a family have been ripped apart because of this evil illness,so raising money to give hope to someone else,is what we will do. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
