My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. My friend Toby was diagnosed with cancer on his spinal cord this year, he spent many weeks in hospital but thankfully home now, yet he has many more weeks and months of recovery to go through. I want to do something to help raise money towards research that will help him and other children like him in the future, so when I found the pretty mudder race near me to take part in, I knew this was for me.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
