My Mum went for a check up this month - she has CLL, and thankfully it's behaving at the moment - but while scrolling through FB I accidentally found myself signing up for this!

I've been meaning to do a race for life for a while, but after 4 babies I'm not the keenest runner..... I do love getting out on my bike, but never afford myself the time to do it. So I'll be digging it out and dusting it off..... The challenge through September will be so small compared to those battling to get well again. We all know people fighting Cancer - there are incredible success stories and cruelest of outcomes too. The battle, however long or short, is life changing for individuals and their families and the researchers are key to making sure we have more success stories in years to come.

If anyone who lives near me can recommend a good mile chomping cycle, let me know. I'm planning to do a mixture of shorter rides and then a couple of biggies - (well big for me......) and hope that, unlike most things I do, it won't all be at the last minute :) This will of course only make a small difference to the cause, but I'd be very grateful of your support and yer money.
