Hi everyone I was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer in early 2015. I had chemo, mastectomy, radiotherapy and continue on 3 weekly IV treatments to keep the cancer stable. I've now had over 75 treatments!! 10 years ago I wouldn't be so healthy and living a "normal" life and I thank research and continued new drug treatments for the quality of life I have. We need to keep raising money to help continue to find new treatments so women and men like me can continue to lead normal lives while in lifelong treatment. Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
