Duncan's Veg Pledge

Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Veg Pledge page. I will be taking on a month-long vegetarian challenge to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured so would really appreciate your support. Cancer has touched mine and my wife's family in many ways. September 2018 saw my Mother-in-Law pass away after a short battle with bowl cancer; she was 60 years old. Cancer is taking loved ones away far too early. It needs to be eradicated. I'm intending to raise money by encouraging the young people I work with to go vegetarian/vegan too. I'm keen to pass on knowledge about the importance of living healthy - healthy eating, keeping active and keeping emotionally on top of things. For me, it’s the most important things for me during this challenge is to educate young people in order for them to make positive changes in their lives. November will be a vegetarian month for me. I hope to raise money through this month to add vital funds to Cancer Research. As an artist, I will also paint and sell art work to raise funds (links to follow).
