My Story
I think I may have shared a drink and some 'hopefully' good chat with the majority of you and I do believe it's your round when I see you next. I will have a pint. This January I am giving up the booze for Cancer Research. Can I ask rather than a pint, you donate a few quid below. I know it's not swimming the English Channel or 15 back to back marathons, but it is an attempt to get you to give a little of your cash to a great cause. In return I will of course be adding my own beer fund to the total. I know personally the tragic effect Cancer can have. Not only through friends but also the loss of my own parents - Mum when I was 24 and my Dad when I was 30 both to Cancer. Every time I read in the news about more progress being made in the fight against cancer, I hope for the leaps forward we need in treating this disease. Please give me the cost of a pint (like a really expensive craft lager in a posh bar) to help cancer research fight this tragic disease and I in return I will stay off the booze in January and buy you a pint back when I next get the chance. Cheers, Barry
