No one should fight cancer alone.
In memory of
Freya Amis
Freya was my sidekick and my little best friend she was 4 years old when she was diagnosed with DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) DIPG has a 0% survival rate, only 10% of children survive 2 years following thier diagnosis and less than 1% survive for 5 years, the average survival is 9 months from diagnosis. Freya survived for 18 months but sadly lost her battle and gained her angel wings on 27th April 2018. Myself and my friends will be running the race for life on Sunday 15th July for Freya and donating any money raised to ward 4 at the RVI, a place that was a massive part of Freya’s journey.

Childhood cancer
Each year, around 1,500 children are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Thanks to major advances in research, around three-quarters of children with cancer now survive. Help Cancer Research UK discover better and kinder treatments for all cancers and to continue to improve overall survival for childhood cancer.
