My Story
After having a year off last year, we are pleased to announce that on Wednesday the 3rd of July 2024, we will be running in the Race for Life event to raise money for Cancer Research! At Downsway Primary School, Cancer Research UK is a charity which is very close to our hearts. We have had members of staff past and present who have beaten Cancer and we want to do everything we can to help. The school has raised over £2500 over the past 4 years with £2000 being on this page and £500 on a another page from 4 years ago- https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/reading-group-cancer-research-uk and this is an amount that we are so pleased with! ANY donation will be hugely appreciated! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
