Elaine, my partner, wife and best friend for over 45 years was taken by cancer in 2017 after 3 years plus of chemo, radio therapy and multiple surgeries (the last being a major liver section). She bore all the pain and indignity with grace and poise. She helped me to be a better person . . . and so I'm doing this in her memory - to contribute to help so that others do NOT have to go through what she endured.
CAUSE
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
