I’m raising as much as I can to beat cancer

In memory of

Walter, Dolly and Dad

Both of my wife's parents died from cancer and more recently Dad also died from it. Although I never knew my father in law, and the battle he had with liver cancer, I went through the whole journey with my wife during her mum's battle with brain cancer and the same with Dad albeit his was a very short battle with leukaemia. The impact on family is huge and no body should have to go through it.

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. Will you help me make a contribution to trying to beat these diseases.

Please donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

Hi again, Thank all of you who have made donations to this worthy cause. I managed a trial half marathon over the weekend and managed 2hours 9 mins for the distance. So very pleased with that and hopefully on the day will be able to do a faster time. 23 days to go before the run. Thank you all again for your amazing support.

With Cancer Research UK Giving Pages more of the money raised goes towards beating cancer sooner. Aside from the credit and debit card fees, every penny donated goes to Cancer Research UK.

All donations made to this page will automatically be transferred to Cancer Research UK.

Five-year survival rates for leukaemia have more than tripled in the last 40 years. But despite this progress, around 4,600 people still lose their lives to the disease every year. Almost a third of all cancers diagnosed in children are leukaemia. Your donation can help Cancer Research UK find better treatments and new ways to prevent the disease in adults and children.
