our mission is for Dots Caravans to raise £500 this year for cancer research
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Dots Caravan has chosen to support Children's Cancer Research. This has become very close to our hearts as over Christmas 2018, Kaiden who is a 7 year old family member was diagnosed with HCC after being rushed to hospital with suspected Appendicitis. That diagnosis was in itself heart breaking but then to find out that it was a very large tumour and that it had already spread to his lungs was devastating. After a round of aggressive Chemo and a second round of normal Chemo ( he was too poorly to have a second aggressive chemo ) we were told that it was terminal and that the tumours had carried on growing and spread even further. He has now been moved to Rainbows Hospice. We Need To Find A Cure to stop families having to say goodbye Far too early !!! Cancer is happening right now . There’s no time to lose! Each year, around 1,500 children are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Thanks to major advances in research, around three-quarters of children with cancer now survive.
