My Mum who passed away on the 5th October 2020 and my Auntie Susan who passed away in February 2021.
I am doing the race for life at home in France to raise money for cancer research, my mum battled cancer for the last 12 years but sadly passed away in October. She was diagnosed with Multiple Meyloma but never gave up, then a couple of years ago she was diagnosed with secondary cancer (melanoma) still she didn't give up and continued to fight. Unfortunately the cancer spread and she was no longer able to keep fighting and passed away. My mum is the strongest person I have ever met.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
