My Story
Though our lives may seem to be on hold at the moment, there is one thing that hasn’t stopped and that’s cancer. I will be joining a friend for our own event, ‘Klock the Kilometers’ throughout the month of July. During which I’m aiming to clock up 50km of running, which is crazy as I only started running a few weeks ago and I’m averaging around 6km per week. I was diagnosed with hip dysplasia in 2017 so I’m expecting it to give me a bit of jip as I increase the frequency of my runs, but on the days I’m struggling I will still get out there and walk the kilometers. To make sure people get the support they need during these unprecedented times, I'll be taking part in the Race for Life at Home. Every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please donate to my Giving Page today! If you’d like to join the Race for Life at Home community, then sign up at raceforlife.org/athome We might be apart, but we’re doing this together.
