We’re taking part in a socially distanced Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner
My Story
Our group of friends take part in Race for Life every year and have done for nearly 10 years. We start the race together and usually cross the finish line holding hands. Due to the lockdown we are not able to race together this year so have decided to carry out our own 5k races, separately but together in spirit. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
