Donna's Race for Life

I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner and in aid of my biggest motivator MY MUM💕💕💕

My Story

Up until February of this year my mum was fit, healthy, active, no medical conditions, no medications and the person that kept us all in check, organised and motivated. Mum became unwell very suddenly and a tumour was discovered in her brain a few weeks ago. This week we learnt that it is a malignant tumour and one that she won't recover from. My mum is my world, my best friend, my soul mate and everything in between and she has spent all her life helping others and has been, still is and always will be a great inspiration to so many people. It breaks my heart to see what a cruel disease can do to people and their families and I will be doing my bit on the 4th June to raise awareness, and try and raise as much funds as I can for this amazing charity and for all the support it provides to each and everyone of us. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
