My Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, all donations are greatly appreciated, so thank you in advance xx I am doing a charity head shave on 3rd October 2020 in aid of Cancer Research UK. Last year I shaved my head to raise money for MacMillan Nurses as they are not government funded and the nurses and all other staff work tirelessly to support people with cancer. This year I am doing it for Cancer Research UK because we need to find a cure for the awful disease. I myself have experienced cancer by having to support my mum when she developed breast cancer 4 years ago. I am lucky, she survived it. But, I know that many people have lost loved ones to it and are going through it themselves. This is my way of showing support to my mum, raise money and awareness to try and find a cure. Whatever little I raise, I know will only scratch the surface but I believe that all donations will help.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
