Walking 8000 steps a day
Sun 1 Mar 2020 - Tue 31 Mar 2020
Ok then, every day in March me and at least one of my EXTREMELY lazy ShihTzus have decided to walk at least 8000 steps a day between us to raise money and awareness for Cancer Research.
Many of you that know me will probably know my 'gang' by the hundreds of photos I post on facebook. A Schweenie and 3 ShihTzus who's idea of exercise is jumping up to eat something and then falling back to sleep on the sofa or stretching from the arm of the sofa to the windowsill to bark at our long suffering postman! So, in an attempt to get us ALL fit and do something worthwhile in doing so, every day in March me and at least one of my EXTREMELY lazy ShihTzus will walk at least 8000 steps a day between us to raise money and awareness for Cancer Research as part of the 'Woof all over Cancer' Campaign. Don't worry, we won't cheat by tying a pedometer to livewire Toby and getting him to run round and round the table, I'll be wearing my fitbit to track our steps and we'll post loads of photos of us doing it! Toby, Bernie, Elsa and Dexter would like to add that this decision was absolutely nothing to do with them, but as they are forever loyal to the holder of chicken treats and their favourite biscuits they are willing to go along with the madcap idea as long as everybody promises to sponsor them the cost of a Bonio!
