My Story
I am raising money for Cancer Research UK’s Stand Up To Cancer campaign in memory of my Aunty Jac and Uncle Alistair who lost their battles with cancer within a year of eachother. To do this I’m going to cycle the 100km coastline of Northumberland (from Cresswell) in one day on the weekend of September 26th/27th 2020, ending the ride in Berwick-upon-Tweed. My aunt and uncle loved to return to Northumberland and its coastline whenever they were able to. The route will be a mix of tarmac, gravel, grass and probably some sand along the way too! At this point in time, my longest rides recently have been just 30km, so training starts now... Any money that you can spare to help Cancer Research UK will be massively appreciated and will push me on in my preparation for the ride!
