Doddiscombsleigh Primary School

Every year, children, staff and parents at Doddi Primary School take part in the annual 'Funny Run'; a mile-long race around the beautiful countryside surrounding our school. This year, the Funny Run is going to be an incredibly special event as we are running it as a Race for Life to raise money for Cancer Research in memory of someone very special to us all. In November, we lost a wonderful teacher, colleague and friend;Tizzy McManus. Tizzy taught at Doddi for almost 25 years and played a huge role in the making the school as successful as it is today. We miss her greatly, everyday. Tizzy would have run many a Funny Run and so this year, as we put on our Funny Run outfits, we will run the race remembering her and all that she brought to life at Doddi. Whatever you can spare to sponsor the children run this race in her memory, we are extremely grateful. Thank you. In loving memory of Tizzy McManus.
