Ditching sugar to help beat cancer
Get fit and raise money? Sounds like a win-win to me!
In memory of
Grandfather
So I've decided to ditch the sugar this February with the aim of raising as much as I can for Cancer Research. Although my initial goal is to raise £200, hopefully, I'll obliterate that target! I think we've all somehow been affected by cancer, either a family member, a friend or even yourself may have or are battling it. My grandfather was diagnosed with bowel cancer while I was in secondary school, I don't remember much about it, but I do remember how he lost so much weight and became a fraction of a man I once knew by the end. Since then I have always been motivated to donate money to Cancer Research, whether it's giving spare change to donation boxes or taking on challenged to raise money. As the tagline goes: We WILL beat cancer together!
