My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Ian and I are going to walk 100 miles in October to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Please show your support and help fund life-saving research by donating to my page. My journey started in 2011 and when I was diagnosed with breast cancer that was after dealing with Mums cancer in 2010, sadly we lost Mum to the dreadful disease in March 2017. I got through the 10 years of beeing free, only to find out this year that i am still having ciomplications so had to have my left breast removed last week. I will fight this too the end, I need to dance, express my positivity and show the world that its ok to not cope sometimes but with support of your family and your friends you can acheive anything, live your life to the full as long as you can. Last year we lost an extremely dear friend Sir Papa Jiim to Pancreatic cancer so he will also be in our thoughts. Also dad King George Vale will be with us who also some years ago was diagnosesd with Prostrate cancer we sadly lost him this year as he wanted to be with Queen Annie our Mum. Supporting Mick O'connor who is also brave dealing with prostrate cancer daily but fights it daily with the support of his family and wife Elaine. Lastly Mark astles a very dear friend who has been a challenge at work on the poolside, he is the most strongest man I know who will not let anything get him down. Its a dreaful disease but we need to keep strength and positivity and show it that we are not kneeling or stepping down to lightly or without a fight.
