In memory of
Mike Coverdale
30th Nov 1943 - 17th Dec 2021
My dear Daddy had surgery for both bowel cancer and oesophageal cancer in June 2020. He was a hardworking Yorkshire man, devoted to his family. A very much loved husband, Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad. Dad had a no nonsense approach to life, not afraid to get stuck in and get his hands dirty. That's how he approached his cancer and the subsequent treatment, with bravery and dignity. He was a lovely, proud, strong man and I am so lucky that he was my Daddy. I miss him everyday. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground breaking work. Donate to my Giving Page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

CAUSE
Bowel cancer
Over the past 40 years there's been dramatic progress in tackling bowel cancer and half of people diagnosed will now survive for at least 10 years. But with bowel cancer still claiming around 43 lives each day, more research still needs to be done. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.
