My Story
Cancer has taken some of the most precious people in my life. The loss of my Aunty Mary had a massive effect on me. The devastation of my Brother's cancer and the joy at his recovery. The strength and admiration I have for my friend Debbie Kane are beyond words. My friends who have suffered, fought and won and to those who have lost loved ones to cancer gives me strength to do this run despite not being very good at running. I cannot change things although I wish I could, but I would like to think i tried even if its just a little for the sake of my children and beyond. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
