DG Run for Life

My son, Jacob, received a Bone Marrow transplant a few years ago and I have signed up to Race for Life to try and give a little something back. The race that I have signed up for is going be in Louth on Sunday 26th September. Unfortunately, this is the day that I am flying back from Qatar! I have been looking forward to this race for some time and, rather than miss out, have been given permission to run the race remotely. So, rather than a cool and gentle jog through Louth, I will be running the race in the 40 degree heat of Doha! Although I am sure that you would have been generous with your donation anyway, please be extra generous to compensate for the hell I am going to be going through... Thanks in advance David About this event: 1k and 5k events (walk, jog or run). Open to men, women and children. The event starts and ends in the Market Place in the pretty Lincolnshire market town of Louth. The 5k course takes in the local area of natural beauty, Hubbard’s Hills and has great support along the way. Fancy Dress is always encouraged and spot prizes are given. On the day: Join us in the market place for a warm up, then the children's (under 12's) 1k will start at 10am, the women's 5k starts at 10:30am and finally the men's 5k at 11:45am. As always the event will be followed up with an afterparty at the Kings Head on Mercer Row and the Turks Head and other pubs in the town centre will also be serving food and have music playing.
