My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking on the challenge of Cancer Research UK's Tough 10 to raise money and save lives. I have seen first hand how much of a devastating disease Cancer is. My mum and wife were so brave to face the treatments and the effects on their health it bought. We miss them so much and want to help others beat and survive the disease quicker and live many more happy years with the memories that brings. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
