I am motivated because too many people lose their life to this awful disease. My fight continues...
In memory of
Aunty Linett, Aunty Marjorie, Aunty Vitee and Sabrina. All lost within the last 8 months.
After losing 3 family members and a family friend to cancer within the last 8 months; whilst also battling the disease myself, I felt it only right to take part in this challenge. I have done this race a few times now, and I always aim to beat my PB, however, this time I will not be running and competing with others as I'm not really physically strong enough yet; instead I will be walking with a few special friends, sister and daughter and will be chuffed just to get to the finish line! Thank you to those friends who promised from the moment of my diagnosis that we would be walking this race together. Sevil and Nic so proud of you for supporting me and staying true to your word, you are very special ladies. xx -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
