My Story
A challenge in aid of Cancer Research UK, for motorcyclists on cheap and inappropriate motorcycles to ride from Land’s End to John O'Groats on a convoluted route without using motorways in 24hrs on the longest day of the year. Bikes must have been bought for no more than £600! In my case the 1989 Suzuki GS500e was last on the road in 2003. I'm busy replacing leaky seals & seized bearings in preparation for an MOT, however, the engine is still an unknown quantity - surely a bargain at £460 - I hope! I'm hoping to smash my target and raise as much money as I possibly can for Cancer Research UK to help fund cancer treatments so that cancer sufferers enjoy every day without worrying about the next.
