Derek Walks All Over Cancer

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by sponsoring me. Over three years ago I lost my father to cancer and this devastated my life and it is only now that I can do something positive to help others to avoid going through what I went through. Any research that may result in stopping just one person getting cancer will stop someone going through what I did is a good thing in my books. This is why I am doing this challenge. This is no easy challenge for me. Last year I averaged 3500-4000 steps per day despite trying to hit 6500 steps. I am overweight, have a back problem which I am getting treatment for and my knees are shot to pieces from playing football earlier in life. To do this challenge will mean a change in my lifestyle and habits but I am real fired up for this so please help me by sponsoring me and together we will, just maybe, help someone beat cancer and stop their relatives going through a similar experience to me.
