Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. So many of my friends and family have been affected by cancer, and unless money is spent on research our children are going to have to go through the same heartbreak that we have. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK in the last 50 years. Despite this incredible progress, there’s more to be done. Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime.
