My Story
As most people know I am a hindquarter amputee, in 2017 I was struck down with chondrosarcoma, my only chance of survival was full amputation of the right leg, thankfully seven years on I’m still here, cancer is an awful disease that affects many people not only have I had to go through it myself but I have lost many family members to this hideous disease, currently my mum is undergoing chemotherapy with her battle against this disease so I have decided to do race for life 10k, i’m going to be doing it in my self-propelled manual wheelchair, i’d like to raise as much money as I can to help others and hopefully find a cure for this horrendous disease, without having the use of my legs to assist me around this course propelling and relying on my upper body strength is not going to be an easy task however I’m always up for a challenge, I am ever so grateful for any sponsor or even just a share of my page, thank you in advance to all those who donate together we will beat cancer!!!
