In memory of
Mick Denises Dad, Dave Laurences Stepdad, and Vanessa our Auntie
My Story
We are running to raise money in memory of Denise's dad Mick, my stepdad Dave and our Auntie Vanessa. I've somehow convinced Denise she can run this race having never taken part in an sporting activity in her life. I've already ran this race twice before in around the hour mark, Denise is determined to match this time. We started training in September 2019 and where making good progress until I sustained an ankle injury that has stopped me running for about three months. But all credit to Denise she has continued on her own and I'm just getting started again. Training is now in full swing and we are excited for the event. This is a brief and short story, but the memories we hold and the impact these family members have had on our lives over the years can not be put into words. We hope to reach our target of donations for a charity we have always supported. We want to thank everyone in advance for any donations and support.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
