I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money for cancer research as I promised xx
As many will know I have taken a personal battle against this disease and when I finished my treatment I always said I’d like to give something back. So with my friend Jo Ford whose family life is being turned about by the disease and to a lovely friend who is battling second time over, the time has come and trainings commenced to get this done.... do one cancer. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
