All friends and family, its the time of year for the Shine Walk in London (22nd September) where thousands of people will come together to walk to raise money and awareness in aid of Cancer Research UK. I will be walking with a team of inspirational people in memory of my beautiful sister-in-law, Margaret. Many family and friends have been affected in some way by this disease. Seeing my brother, his daughters and their families processing the enormity of the loss they have faced; left asking the question why. The cost of the research laboratories, the hours of dedication from medical staff, researchers and volunteers alike deserve every penny you can give for this worthy cause. And it doesn't take much for the donations to add up - cost of a coffee, the price of a glass of your favourite vino. Whatever you can give is greatly appreciated.
