We're taking part in Race for Life Schools to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're taking part in a Race for Life Schools to raise money and save lives. Each class will complete laps of the track to ensure that someone is "racing for life" throughout the entire school day. Teachers and parents are welcome to join us throughout the day to contribute towards the distance we can cover. Walk or run, everyone will play their part. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
