Having survived Breast Cancer since 2012 , I am passionate about raising money for Cancer Research.

Grandma Sarah, Auntie Muriel and my wonderful Dad.
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. In my lifetime 3 generations of females in my family,including myself in 2012 have been affected with breast cancer . I have also witnessed first hand the progressions in cancer treatments through generations and both myself and my lovely mother , age 82 are the 2 fortunate ones living and enjoying life today . We would both not be if it were not for research, early interventions and testing, new technology and cancer fighting drugs.
