in 2018 I was treated for cancer. This meant an operation, chemotherapy and radiotherapy - the works. It was tough but the support of family and friends was brilliant. As to the staff at Nottingham City Hospital, they were wonderful, especially the chemo nurses. Raising money to improve treatment and beat cancer means so much to me now.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
