My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I'm letting my dog take the lead on beating cancer and walking every single day of the month to raise money for Cancer Research UK. My Uncle passed away with lung cancer and it has had a huge effect on my life since I saw the pain and suffering he went through up until his final moments. Feels right that this challenge starts on his birthday too 1st March. I believe even raising a small amount would help towards research. I am also signed up to do the Yorkshire Three Peaks for heart research in July so this will be an excellent starting point as well as raising money for cancer and obviously Amber my little Cockapoo will be loving the extra long walks. Thank you for your support! Cancer Research UK are the only charity fighting over 200 types of cancer and receive no government funding for their work.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
