I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

Cancer is happening right now. Like many of you, I have friends and family members who have been diagnosed with or have been affected by cancer. This is why I'm taking part in the Edinburgh Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.

Cancer Research UK has been hit hard by COVID-19. They receive no government funding. We now face the real possibility of cancer survival going backwards for the first time in decades. However, their determination to beat cancer hasn’t faltered and they are more focussed than ever on their ambition of seeing 3 in 4 people survive their cancer by 2034.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground breaking work.
