In 2017, Paris convinced me and her cousins to run our first 5K race, with her, in memory of my Grandad, within a year she was fighting cancer herself. My brave and beautiful niece passed away this April after fighting for 3 years, so this year we are running for her. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
