In memory of
Johanne & Ellen
I’m taking part in Race For Life Pretty Muddy this year in memory of two very special ladies Johanne and Ellen. My best friend Johanne lost her battle with cancer in 2011 at the young age of 26. She was so kind and caring and always giving me advice when I got myself in a pickle. She was always there for me and we could sit and chat for hours. We were a little crazy team and I miss My special useful wooden spoon so much! The day after Johanne passed away my cousin Ellie was diagnosed with Leukaemia. she lost her battle 2 years later the young age of 31. Ellen was the heart and soul of our family. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She had a contagious smile and was always making me laugh. I miss both these ladies so much! I often think about what life would be like if they were here today. They were both kind hearted, inspirational women I was blessed to have in my life. Losing two very special people to cancer has been so hard and that is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
