It’s come around again. On the ninth of June, I’m spending the morning charging about for 10k, in order to raise money to help fund research into cancer. I’m doing it again to honour and think about all of the people I know who have had cancer, most of whom still live. This money should be coming from the state, as we are such a wealthy country. But we have leaders with reprehensible priorities, so I need you all to support me again as I do my bit. Love, hugs and snogs to anyone who gives me some cash. X

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
