My Story
Thursday 28th September 2017 brought a phone call from my Dad that turned our world on its head: my Mum has cancer. This horrible, devastating, indiscriminate disease has crept it's way into our family I am so proud of my Mum for staying so strong, from the day of diagnosis, through the tough treatment, two stays in hospital and all the other horrible parts that come with it. She has been a rock and an inspiration and I am doing this run to show my support for all the others out there who have to endure this awful disease, and raise money to one day hopefully find a cure

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
