In memory of
Catherine Pinfold, Norma May and Jo Barker
Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page, which I have set up to mark a significant birthday -- not just because it has a zero at the end. This year sees me celebrate one more birthday than my wonderful mum Catherine, who died a few days after her forty-ninth birthday; I have also already lived much longer than a dearly-loved aunt who died in her thirties, and than my amazing and sorely-missed friend Jo. All of these women were loving, vibrant human beings, with so much life left to live and so much they still wanted to do. They also shaped many aspects of my own life and I remain deeply grateful to them. Although treatments continue to improve, cancer still cuts far too many amazing lives short. Any money raised here will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. So if you were thinking of marking my birthday in any way this year (or even if you weren't :)!) then I would be enormously grateful if you'd consider donating here instead. Thank you so much!
