Our dad fought a 10 year battle against 4 cancers. He was first diagnosed with a rare skin cancer 10 years ago and had many successful major operations which allowed us several more years with him. In April last year he was diagnosed with lung cancer and never quite managed to rebuild his strength and we lost him in July. We know that without the fantastic work of cancer research we would not have had him in our lives for as long as did and we are now walking in his honour and memory. Please donate whatever you can. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Skin cancer
Around 37 people in the UK are told they have malignant melanoma (the most serious form of skin cancer) every day. Over the last decade malignant melanoma incidence rates have increased by around a half (49%) in the UK. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to treat skin cancer.
