I'm taking on The Great Row to raise funds for Cancer Research UK's life-saving work

In memory of

Dr Christopher Frederick Green

I'm taking on CRUK's The Great Row. Devastatingly, 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Those close to us always touch our hearts and spur us into doing something like The Great Row. This is the case with me as my Father is living with cancer and a close friend of mine has recently lost his fight against the disease. More research is needed to enable the most aggressive of cancers to be diagnosed and cured before they get to the stage of taking over. Without the constant support and research of Cancer Research more people would be dying of this disease. But advances in science have put cures within our grasp. Please support me by sponsoring me.

Today is the first day of my challenge and to get things started I rowed 2x1500m on a concept 2 rowing machine. Tomorrow I will be competing in the Nene head of river for Peterborough City Rowing Club but will complete another 1500m before I set off. I will be posting everything through Facebook and Instagram showing my progress. Many thanks to everyone who is supporting me through this so Cancer Research can find a cure for Cancer for good.
