My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to be taking on the Walk 62 Miles Challenge this January to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. My husband (an ex RAF veteran ) was diagnosed with his second primary cancer on the 11th of December 2025. 5 years after his first diagnoses of kidney cancer in 2020. He went on to get the all clear after having his right kidney removed on december 15th 2020. This year should have been his 5 years all clear .. Instead we have a brand new diagnoses of laryngeal cancer. So my brave husband will be facing his battle into 2026. Please show your support and help fund life-saving cancer research by donating to my page. I hate leaving the house due to PTSD symptoms from my past life of living 18 years domestic abuse . But to help my husband and to feel like I'm contributing In some way to the greater good, I'm going to challenge myself to keep walking and getting out of the house in january 2026... which is usually for me my most motivation-less and depressing month of the year at the best of times.. please show your support, no matter how small the donation may be .
