My Story
As you can see from the medals in my photo above Race for Life has become an annual event for me. They might not be medals for winning but for me they mean so much as along with thousands of others I have finished everyone of my 12 races and with the generosity of so many people have managed to raise invaluable money to fight this horrible disease. On July 2nd at Ferry Meadows in Peterborough I will once again be doing the 5km, whilst remembering people who have lost the fight but being inspired by those whose fight continues. I know we all have many requests to help various charities each year and so many people have raised monies this year so far. But now it is my turn to do my bit and if you can donate anything, no matter how small I would be very happy. Thanks for taking the time to read this and the general details of how to donate are shown below. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
